I am trying to update my make up bag when i decided to write this post, as a lady there are important items that should be found in your makeup bag, it doesn't necessarily mean you have to break the bank to get them, there are the expensive items and the not so expensive ones, but go with whatever walks for you, now back to my list

1.  Compressed powder : This is the first on my list because it means the world to me, i go everywhere with it, i have a very oily skin, still trying to find out what works best for me, i will definitely update you all on my progress.
2. Foundation :  A good foundation works magic, knowing your skin type is very important when buying a foundation.
3. Concealer: this is used to cover up spot and blemishes, break out, acnes, it gives the face a smooth look.
4. Eyeliner: Having an eyeliner helps out in moments when you want to enhance the look of your eyes, or want to step up your make up from day to night, it also makes the eye appear bigger.
5. Mascara: i have scanty and short lashes , so this is also very important for me, it gives my eye lashes the fullness i am looking for.
6. Lipstick: they give you this effortless sexy look, turning your general makeup from plain to fabulous with just applying them to your lips.
7. Brow pencil : Filling, Defining , emphasizing , shaping can all be done with brow pencils, they come in different shades, the most important thing is use the one close to your eyebrow color.
8. Color palette (eye shadow): It comes in different shapes, contains different colors, ranges from neutrals to smoky. 
9. Blush: It adds a pop of color to your cheeks, makes it look rosy.
10. Lip balm: Applied to the lips of the mouth, to prevent dryness, to moisturise, 

MY PLANS FOR VALENTINE

It is the season of love again, popularly known as valentine, the time to remind your loved ones why and how much you love them, the time to show family members you care, but valentine is mostly celebrated by couples all over the world, dinner for two, gifts, so many people are going to be engaged on that day, personally i have never celebrated valentine before, no sorry scratch that i did twice, the first one does not count because i ended up not feeling loved or anything, while the second time made up for the first am going to stop here.
This time around valentine falls on a sunday, i have been seeing jokes, meme online on how guys are going to spend their valentine in church to avoid spending ODIKWA VERY RISKY, as for me i have decided to spend it at an orphanage, to spend time with kids who needs to know they are loved, am not going alone, but with friends so am killing one bird with two stones, is this saying correct or  have i messed it up again, anyway i will love to know the plans you made for valentine, and by the way HAPPY VALENTINE in advance

COCKTAIL PINEAPPLE BUGANDA

This drink originated from Kenya, it's very easy to make, just by getting the required ingredients and following the steps

Ingredients
2 cups fresh pineapples (ripe
4 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 cup cream or 1/2 cup coconut milk
6 ounces white rum
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
I cup crushed ice
Mint sprig, garnish
Maraschino cherry, garnish

Directions 
Blend until smooth and thick.
Serve with mint and a maraschino cherry in whiskey-sour glasses.

SIMPLE NIGERIAN BEEF STEW

RECIPE

This is one of the most easy and in expensive food  for parents and especially students living alone, I can relate to this because I live alone currently at the moment, most times I get home feeling so tired and this is my goto food, fast and easy, can be eaten with rice, spaghetti

EQUIPMENTS 

Pots

Spoon

Bowl

Electric blender or hand blender

INGREDIENTS 

7 balls of Tomatoes

2 Onions

8 balls of Pepper 

Vegetable oil

Seasonings (salt,maggi)

Meat

PREPARATION 

1. Dice one onion and keep aside.
2. Wash the meat very well, add salt, Maggi, salt and some of the diced onions, put water that will enough to cook the meat till its tender, when tender remove the meat from the meat stock. 
   
3. Blend the tomatoes, pepper and the second onion and keep aside.
   
4. Put a clean pot on the fire when it's completely dry, add vegetable oil, allow to heat up, when hot, add the remaining diced onions, then the blended tomatoes and pepper, allow to cook for a while then add the meat stock, leave to cook till its dry, add the meat, add seasonings, check for taste, correct seasoning if it's not okay.

Chin chin is a snack that originated from Nigeria, it's crunchy and deep fried, it's ideal for all type of occasions , quite easy to make, the only problem I encounter is stopping myself from eating them all up before I finish frying.

Recipe
•Prep time: 30minutes
•Cook time: 15minutes
•Total time: 45minutes

Utensils
• Rolling Pin
• A Clean Board, table or Smooth Flat Surface
• A Frying Pan or pot
• A Medium Sized bowl
• A Sharp Knife

Ingredients
Flour 3kg
Butter 750g
Sugar 80g - 90g
Eggs 6
Nutmeg 1
Milk flavor 3 tablespoonfuls
Real milk as desired
Baking powder 3 tablespoonfuls
Salt 1/2 teaspoon levelled
Vanilla flavor 1 tablespoon
Vegetable oil (deep frying)

PROCEDURE 

1. Sieve your measured flour into a dry bowl.
2. Add the baking powder, salt,vanilla flavor, salt, nutmeg, milk, into the measured flour, and mix together.
3. Make a hole in the middle and pour in your whisked egg and mix together very well.
4. Make a hole in the Centre, gradually pour water with the help of one hand to form a hard dough,then knead cover the bowl with a tray and allow to rest for 10 to 15 minutes.
5. Sprinkle little flour on the table, cut some portion from the dough, put on the table and roll with the help of your rolling pin, roll flat, then use a knife or pizza cutter to cut into your desired shape, most people prefer square shape.
6. Place your frying pan or pot on the fire, add vegetable oil, when hot, fry to golden brown.

AGE MATES ; does it matter? Our society has created this whole notion that as a lady you must marry a guy older that you with at least two years, but I still ask does it matter? This problem has destroyed so many relationships, just because they felt it won't work because the girl is same age with them or older than them.
FINANCE; This I can understand to an extent that it does affect a relationship, nobody wants to go into marriage without financial security.
I WONT BE READY WHEN YOU ARE; I know it does take a while before guys are ready for marriage, majority actually, but I have seen and heard about guys who marry early and doing very well, so am not a 100% with this answer.
FAMILY WONT AGREE: Getting the blessings of your family is really important, but does it have to control your happiness, does it have to dictate who you can or can't marry, so many people ended up not been with the love of their lives because of silly reasons given by their families, am not suggesting going against them but there are times you do need to put them in their place.
AM NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU; Are you the one to dictate what's good and not good enough for me? This reason I sincerely do hate the most, like let me decide, let me make my own decisions don't make them for me
Listening to her complains, I ached to go to her and advice her not to throw away her happiness just because of silly reasons today, that she might regret tomorrow, it may seem like the best decision now, it might actually end up been the best decision she ever made, who knows? But her happiness should be her main priority.
