BUTTERED BISCUIT

This is a really simple biscuit, it's great as a snack, I try to make them in excess, because it just doesn't last long, it disappears very fast, and I keep wondering
where they all end up, but this recipe is great and easy to follow,

INGREDIENTS

Flour ------------- 500g
Butter ----------- 250g
Sugar ------------ 150g
Egg --------------- 2
Nutmeg or Cinnamon
Baking powder- 1/2 teaspoon levelled
Salt ---------------- a pinch
Vanilla flavor ---- 2 capful

METHOD

  1. Cream the butter and sugar together very well, wash and break the eggs then whisk.
  2. Sieve the flour into another bowl, add the nutmeg or cinnamon, baking powder and salt then gradually add them into the mixture, also add the flour and the whisked eggs to format an average dough, roll out on a flat table and cut into different shapes.
  3. Grease the oven tray, place the dough and bake for 20 to 30 minutes to a light golden brown.

NOTE: The biscuit batter can also be pipped through a pipping bag or pipping nozzle, if using this method, add liquid milk to make the mixture lighter and allow easy pipping.
